It’s important to know that when you buy your Direct Bus ticket to travel from Barcelona Airport or Sants Station to Andorra, you have the advantage of bringing cabin luggage weighing no more than 10 kg free of charge.

What is classed as hand luggage?

Hand luggage can include small suitcases or carry-ons, rucksacks and small bags, which are designed to fit neatly into overhead compartments or under the seat, ensuring quick and easy access to your most important belongings.

What kind of hand luggage can you bring?

We give you the flexibility to bring luggage that is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to strike a balance between space and portability. However, it’s important to remember that there are specific regulations and measurements to keep in mind for a smooth and seamless journey.

To ensure a seamless journey, we recommend that you notify in advance of any additional luggage you plan to bring. This will enable us to make the necessary arrangements and ensure sufficient space on the bus.

2. Measurements and dimensions of additional luggage:

Make sure you know the measurements and dimensions allowed for additional luggage, such as pushchairs and wheelchairs. This will ensure that they can be safely accommodated during the journey.

3. Proper preparation:

Items such as baby car seats must be properly installed and follow safety guidelines.

Furthermore, other hold luggage must be secured inside to avoid damage during the transfer, which is why at Direct Bus we ensure that they are stowed in the presence of the driver.

4. Accessibility:

If you are travelling with a wheelchair or walking frame, make sure they are accessible and easy to manoeuvre. It is our goal to provide you with the comfort you need at all times.

Other important information related to luggage

1. Loss:

In case of loss, malfunction, damage or theft of luggage, the liability of transport providers will be governed by Spanish law Royal Decree 1136/97 of 11 July. Hand luggage is at the sole risk of the passenger.

2. Insurance:

Passengers will be covered by the SOVI (Compulsory Old Age and Disability Insurance) regulated by Spanish Royal Decree 1585/1989, of 22 December.
