You can use a debit or credit card (Visa and Mastercard) for your purchase. If you buy your ticket at any of our ticket offices, you can also pay in cash.
Cash payment is only possible at the ticket office during operating hours.
No. You must purchase your ticket via the website, mobile app or at the ticket office, as this is not possible on the bus.
Your card will be charged automatically once you have completed the online purchase process.
At the moment it is not possible to pay with Paypal on the Direct Bus website, app or points of sale, or to use any other payment method other than cards and cash.
At the moment you can only pay for your Direct Bus ticket in Euros.
For security reasons we cannot accept ticket purchases over the phone, but you can make your booking via our website, app or at our sales points at Barcelona Sants station and Andorra bus station.
Yes, thanks to the PSD2 legislation (Payment Service Directive), all payments are protected, which means that when you are making the payment you have to make two authentication steps in order to confirm the purchase.

Rules and services

To transport bicycles, you must bear in mind that the request must be made in advance or according to availability, and they must be properly packed and protected in the hold of the bus.

You are also required to bring the purchase invoice of the bicycle to prove that it was bought either in Spain or in Andorra.
Animals may not be transported on board the bus, but they may be transported in the hold in a cage adapted for the animal with the corresponding documentation. Guide dogs are allowed.
Two pieces of luggage may be carried per person, in addition to hand luggage. In case of exceeding the allowed amount of luggage, the transport of the luggage will be subject to the space left in the luggage compartment.
Andorra has signed transit agreements with Spain and France, which means that people from any European country do not need to apply for any special permit. To enter or leave Andorra, a passport or identity card will be sufficient.

If you are travelling with minors, you must also bring an official family record book. If a minor is travelling alone, an authorisation to leave the territory is required, which can be obtained from the council or police station.
Yes, there are a set of compulsory rules for all passengers:
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the bus.
  • For safety reasons, seat belts must remain fastened throughout the journey. Be reminded that any breach of this rule may result in a sanction by the authorities.
  • Out of respect for other passengers and for reasons of hygiene, it is not permitted to eat and drink inside the bus.


We will inform you on the website of any type of change that may occur in the transport service.
Unfortunately, it is only possible to travel on the bus with a valid ticket. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. No other proof of payment will be accepted. Once you have purchased your ticket, you must carry it with you.

Manage your ticket

It is an alphanumeric code (combining letters and numbers) that we use at Direct Bus to identify the tickets that are purchased by each user.
It is the number that you can find in the “Ticket” section of the booking document that we send you by email once you have made your purchase (left-hand side).
You can find it in the Booking Details section of the booking document that we send you by email when you make your purchase.
If you lose your ticket or miss your bus, you will have to buy a new ticket in order to be able to travel. For this reason, we always recommend that you are at the bus stop or station 30 minutes before the bus departs.

In this case, you will be able to travel by bus if there are free seats available.
