The following general conditions (the “General Conditions”) are those that apply to persons who purchase tickets through the website andorradirectbus.es (the “Website”). The General Conditions, together with the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy, constitute the applicable legal framework (the “Legal Terms”) for the use of this Website and the purchase of transport tickets (the “Tickets”), both online and at authorized establishments (“Establishments”) and will be updated periodically, and therefore those published when you use the Website or when the purchase is made at the Establishment shall apply.
The Legal Terms apply to transactions carried out on the Website and at the Establishments from their date of publication, in relation to the Tickets acquired at the time when said General Conditions were available, remaining in force thereafter in all those aspects provided on a permanent basis. “Tickets” shall be understood as any kind of transport ticket purchased to travel to any available destination and/or any other service (hereinafter, the “Service”) offered through the Website, by telephone or at the Establishment, as the case may be.
The use of the Website and the purchase of any Ticket grants the person who makes it the status of customer (hereinafter, the “Customer”). Acceptance of these General Conditions by the Customer will be an essential requirement in order to formalize any contractual relationship between the Customer and ADB.
- IDENTIFICATION AND CONTACT
The Website andorradirectbus.es is owned by Autocares Julià SL, with Tax ID No. B08095390, with registered office at: C/ Pablo Iglesias, 84 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) Spain and email account info@julia.net, and by AUTOCARS NADAL, S.A., with Tax ID No. 914074-F and registered office at Avda. Tarragona, 44-46. AD500 Andorra La Vella. Principality of Andorra and email account info@autocarsnadal.com (jointly “ADB”). - PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION.
As a Customer, you declare that, at the time of making the purchase (hereinafter, the “Purchase”), you are aware of the General Conditions published on the Website and you expressly declare that you accept them without any reservation.
The making of the Purchase and its confirmation implies full and complete acceptance of these General Conditions, as well as acceptance of the rest of the Legal Terms and any others expressly indicated as such. - PURCHASE CONDITIONS.
3.1. Purchase of Tickets online
By using the Website and making Purchases, Customers undertake to: - Use the Website to make legally valid queries or Purchases.
- Not make false or fraudulent Purchases. If it is reasonably considered that a Customer has made a Purchase of such nature, ADB shall be authorized to cancel it and inform the relevant authorities.
- Provide truthfully and accurately the data necessary to process the Purchase.
By making a Purchase through the Website, you declare that you are over 18 years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
a) How to make a Purchase
To make a Purchase through the Website, you must follow the procedure established therein, completing all fields marked as mandatory and selecting the day and time and the type of Ticket you wish to purchase, except when return Tickets are purchased, where the return Ticket may be purchased without a specific date.
The data necessary to make the Purchase requested in the Purchase form must be provided, and Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided.
After completing all the data, the Customer will be directed to the selected payment gateway. Once payment has been made, the Customer will receive an email with the reservation number and the Ticket in electronic format. Said email will contain the price, applicable taxes, as well as specific information regarding the Tickets purchased and information about ADB. The confirmation email must be kept as proof thereof.
ADB reserves the possibility of not making the sale for reasons such as a fraudulent Purchase or suspicion regarding the buyer’s age. Regardless of the foregoing, ADB will inform of such circumstances as soon as possible, offering, where possible, an alternative solution.
b) Technical means for correcting errors
The Website has confirmation windows in each of the sections of the Purchase process. Likewise, the Website offers details of the Tickets you wish to purchase, so that, before making payment, you can check and, where appropriate, modify the data of your Purchase.
3.2. Purchase of Tickets at Establishments
Customers will also have the option to make the Purchase of Tickets at the ticket offices of the Establishments, provided that there is availability and the Legal Terms are complied with.
- CUSTOMER OR TRAVELER OBLIGATIONS
4.1. Compliance with regulations and established instructions
By purchasing a Ticket, the Customer undertakes to comply with the General Conditions, the rest of the Legal Terms and the applicable regulations on consumer affairs, transport and traveler safety. The applicable regulations (hereinafter, the “Applicable Regulations”) comprise the set of legal, regulatory and administrative provisions in force that apply to the Purchase, including the national legislation of the country where the Ticket Purchase is made, the corresponding international transport conventions, as well as the consumer and user protection rules that are mandatory according to the competent jurisdiction. Likewise, the Customer must abide by the basic rules of conduct during the journey, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations and ADB’s indications.
4.2. Accuracy of the information provided
The Customer undertakes to provide truthful and accurate data both in the Purchase process and in any of the requirements established by ADB for the provision of the Service, being responsible for the consequences that may arise from the inaccuracy or falsity of the information provided. Any fraudulent operation is prohibited, and, if detected, ADB shall be entitled to cancel the Purchase and, where appropriate, inform the relevant authorities.
4.3. Travel documentation
The Customer must carry the necessary documentation to be able to cross borders and travel to/from the Principality of Andorra (passport, ID, visas, etc.) and/or all documentation required, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations. ADB is not responsible for any damages that may arise from failure to comply with this requirement.
4.4. Conduct inside the vehicle
The Customer shall refrain from carrying out acts that disturb the normal provision of the Service or that involve a breach of the prohibitions established in the Legal Terms (for example, smoking or eating when expressly prohibited). Under no circumstances shall damage to or theft of ADB’s property be permitted, nor conduct that may cause discomfort or risk to other passengers.
- TICKETS AND THEIR VALIDITY
5.1. Tickets
Tickets are personal and non-transferable, unless otherwise indicated on them. It is forbidden to modify or copy the Tickets. Each Ticket is reserved for use by the person whose name and surname appear on it. When accessing the vehicle (the “Vehicle”), ADB may require the Customer to present a document (ID, NIE or passport) that allows the identification of the bearer. The following types of Tickets exist:
a) Single Tickets.
Within this option the Customer may purchase different types of Tickets, including: - One-way Ticket.
- Return Ticket with a specific date.
- Return Ticket with the return without a specific date.
This type of Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
b) Multi-journey Passes
The Customer may purchase Multi-journey Passes with which they may acquire several Tickets at once that can be redeemed as needed, through the Website or at the Establishment. This type of Tickets may be used by different people. However, once the Ticket is formalized and the data entered, the Ticket may only be used by that person.
5.2. Validity
The validity of a Ticket may be verified by different means; therefore, the Customer carrying it undertakes to present the Ticket when accessing the Vehicle. The Ticket may be presented in printed form, provided that it has a minimum quality for reading, or in electronic format. Tickets purchased for a particular day will only be valid for the day they were purchased, losing the right to access the Vehicle if not used on that date. In the event of having purchased a return Ticket with the return date not determined, it must be used within six months from the Purchase and will only be accepted subject to availability of free seats.
In the case of Multi-journey Passes, they will be valid for one year from their Purchase. If the Tickets are not used within the established period, any unused ones will be lost, with no right to a refund in any case. Please note that Tickets acquired with Multi-journey Passes must be used before the expiry date thereof, and journeys may not be formalized on later dates.
If a Ticket is forged or acquired fraudulently (entailing a report to the competent authorities), it will be destroyed and its bearer will not be admitted to the Vehicle.
- PRICE AND METHOD OF PAYMENT
6.1. Price
The Ticket prices are those shown on the Website at the time of Purchase, including the taxes applicable in each case and those indicated by the agent when the Purchase is made by telephone.
Prices may change at any time, but any changes will not affect Tickets for which a Purchase confirmation has already been sent.
The prices indicated for each type of Ticket will be expressed in euro (€). Unless otherwise indicated, the prices of the products shown on the Website include the taxes legally applicable in the country of sale of the Ticket.
6.2. Discounts
The following discounts will be applied to the final price of the Tickets if any of the following requirements are met:
Age discounts:
a. From 0 to 3 years: 80%
b. From 4 to 12 years: 50%
c. From 13 to 25 years: 10%
d. From 60 years onwards: 10%
6.3. Campaigns and promotions
All promotional campaigns scheduled by ADB shall be subject to specific conditions specified at the time of Purchase. Such conditions shall prevail over any other condition.
- ADMISSION, ASSISTANCE AND TRAVEL RULES
ADB reserves the right to refuse admission in the event of non-compliance by Customers with any of the Legal Terms and/or any other indications specified at the time of Purchase of the Tickets. In these cases Customers will not be entitled to a refund.
Likewise, and, as a general rule for entry to the Vehicles, unless expressly indicated otherwise: - Only the first Ticket presented at the indicated control point will be accepted as valid and subsequent attempts to access with the same Ticket will not be admitted.
- You must present the Ticket at the indicated control point where it will be validated by a scanner.
- The Principality of Andorra does not belong to the EEC and, therefore, the Customer must carry the necessary documentation in order to travel. Failure to carry the necessary documentation may create problems for the Customer at the border depending on their nationality.
- TRAVEL BY MINORS
Children under twelve (12) years of age must travel accompanied by an adult. When this person is not the minor’s legal representative (parent with parental authority or legally appointed guardian), the minor must mandatorily and without exception carry a valid national identity document or passport, the corresponding police authorization, as well as that of the father, mother or legal guardian for the purchase of the Ticket and the journey, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations.
Those over twelve (12) and under eighteen (18) years of age who travel without the company of any of their legal representatives (parents with parental authority or legally appointed guardian/s) must mandatorily and without exception carry a valid national identity document or passport, as well as the corresponding police authorization and that of the father, mother or legal guardian in order to purchase the Ticket and make the journey, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations. - PROHIBITIONS
The Customer may not resell or transfer their Tickets when prohibited by law, when they are nominative or when they are expressly indicated as non-transferable. If the Customer needs to change or transfer the Tickets, they must contact ADB.
Smoking is prohibited inside the bus in accordance with the Applicable Regulations. Non-compliance by the Customer may be subject to sanction.
For hygiene reasons, eating inside the bus is prohibited.
9.1. Transport of animals
In accordance with the General Conditions and the Applicable Regulations on traffic, motor vehicle circulation and road safety, only animals intended for psychological support, assistance, guide dogs, and those prescribed by the corresponding accrediting certification may be transported in the cabin, always under the responsibility of and accompanied by their owners.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the transport of a single pet per Service will be permitted, which will be transported exclusively in the hold of the Vehicle. Such transport will be restricted to small animals, such as dogs, cats, ferrets and birds (excepting poultry), among others. Weight limitations will be determined by the technical characteristics of the Vehicle and by ADB on the Website. The animal must remain throughout the journey inside a rigid receptacle (carrier, cage or other safe and closed container) provided by the Customer. This receptacle must have a waterproof bottom capable of retaining any organic waste.
Transport will be carried out under the full and exclusive responsibility of the passenger, who must necessarily travel on the same Service as their animal.
The passenger carrying an animal must present themselves fifteen minutes before the scheduled boarding time, personally proceeding to place the animal in the Vehicle according to the guidelines indicated by the driver. The animal must be in optimal physical, hygienic-sanitary and behavioral conditions for transport. Although it is not a mandatory requirement, the use of a muzzle is recommended. Both boarding and disembarkation of the animal will be carried out by its owner, trying to avoid the proximity of other passengers to prevent situations of discomfort or potential danger.
The amount corresponding to the transport of the animal will be calculated as a percentage of the Ticket price according to the current rates, excluding applicable promotions or discounts, and will be paid as a supplement prior to the start of the journey.
The specifications and recommendations regarding the transport of pets can be consulted in the specific section enabled on the Website. Without prejudice to the foregoing, all documentation specified in the Applicable Regulations must be carried at a minimum (by way of example but not limited to, the animal’s passport, vaccination card, animal identification, etc.).
- LOST PROPERTY
10.1. Immediate notification
In case of loss of objects during the journey, the Customer must immediately report it to ADB staff or through the customer service channels provided, indicating in detail the nature, description and approximate value of the lost item.
10.2. Deposit and safekeeping
To the extent possible, ADB will keep found objects on board in deposit for a period determined by the Applicable Regulations or, failing that, for the period indicated on the Website. After said period, ADB may hand them over to the competent authorities or follow the legally provided procedure.
10.3. Exemption from liability
ADB does not guarantee nor assume responsibility for the recovery of lost items, nor for possible damage or deterioration of those found, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by ADB, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations on transport and consumer and user protection.
- TRANSPORT OF LUGGAGE AND MOBILITY AIDS
11.1. Included luggage
As a general rule, the Customer is entitled to transport free of charge one suitcase in the hold of up to 30 kg, with 4 being the total number of suitcases allowed in the hold per passenger.
ADB will charge a supplement from the second suitcase in the hold. However, certain luggage may be subject to certain special conditions and/or restrictions, so you must consult ADB.
The Customer has the right to carry with them hand luggage that meets the weight, size and characteristics established by ADB. Any item that exceeds the established measurements or weights may be subject to surcharges or transport restrictions.
11.2. Mobility aids
ADB will facilitate the transport of wheelchairs and other essential mobility aids for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations on equal opportunities, non-discrimination and universal accessibility for persons with disabilities, whenever possible and provided safety requirements are met. Where necessary, suitable spaces will be enabled in the Vehicle for these items.
11.3. Liability for damage or loss
ADB will be liable, under the terms provided by the Applicable Regulations on transport and consumer affairs, for damage or loss caused to luggage duly checked in or admitted as hand luggage. However, damage arising from the nature or inadequate packaging of the luggage, or that does not meet the required conditions for safe transport, will be excluded.
11.4. Declarations of value
When the luggage or mobility aid has a value noticeably higher than ordinary, the Customer must declare it before starting the journey and pay, where appropriate, the additional premium or fee that applies, in accordance with the Applicable Regulations on insurance and transport.
- CANCELLATION POLICY
12.1. Cancellation
In case of cancellation, ADB will refund the Customer the amount of the Single Ticket up to 2 days before the departure of the Service, at no cost.
In case of cancellation, ADB will deduct 10% of the value of the Single Ticket if requested between 48 hours and 24 hours before the departure of the Service.
In case of cancellation, ADB will deduct 30% of the value of the Single Ticket if requested between 24 and 2 hours before the departure of the Service.
In case of cancellation less than 2 hours before the departure of the Service, no refund will be made.
Multi-journey Passes may not be canceled under any circumstances and will therefore not be refunded.
Some Tickets may be subject to specific cancellation conditions, which will be specified at the time of Purchase.
In case of cancellation of the Service due to force majeure, ADB reserves the right to rebook the Customer on another frequency or to provide a full refund of the Ticket amount. In any case, it does not give rise to any type of compensation.
In case of modifications, only two changes to the Single Ticket are allowed free of charge. - LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
13.1. Limitation of Liability
ADB will not assume liability for personal or material damages and/or losses caused by recklessness or non-compliance with the rules of behavior and use of the Vehicles. Likewise, in the event of loss, breakdown, damage or theft of luggage, the liability of the carriers shall be governed by Royal Decree 1136/97 of 11 July where the purchase has been made from Spain, and by Andorran Law 4/2015, of 15 January, on road transport, where the purchase has been made from Andorra. Hand luggage is carried at the Customer’s sole risk.
13.2. Force Majeure
ADB will not assume liability for possible cancellations of the Service and/or closure of the Establishment due to force majeure (such as pandemics, wars, strikes, fire, explosion, storm, flood, epidemic or any other natural disaster, etc.), economic losses (including loss of income, profit, contracts, business or anticipated savings), loss of goodwill or reputation or losses for special or indirect damages suffered or incurred arising out of or in connection with these General Conditions.
During the events mentioned above, the obligations undertaken in these General Conditions shall be understood to be suspended while the cause that originated them persists.
- INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
The contents of the Website are the property of ADB and are fully protected in accordance with the Applicable Regulations on intellectual property. Consequently, any download or copy of a page or part of the Website is authorized only if the copyright notice and other protected terms are not modified.
The trademarks, trade names or distinctive signs of any kind that appear on the Website are owned by ADB or, where applicable, by collaborating companies, or have been published with the consent of their legitimate owners, and access to the Website shall not be construed as granting users any rights over said trademarks, trade names and/or distinctive signs.
To make any type of observation regarding possible infringements of intellectual or industrial property rights, as well as regarding any of the contents of the Website, you can contact ADB through the email atencionalcliente@andorradirectbus.es attaching the relevant information.
In any case, ADB will not assume any responsibility regarding intellectual or industrial property rights owned by third parties that are infringed by users of the Website, Customers or any other person outside ADB. - DATA PROTECTION
The information or personal data you provide as a Customer will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy. ADB guarantees the confidentiality of the data provided for the acquisition of the Services offered through the Website and their processing in accordance with the Applicable Regulations on data protection.

These General Conditions and the other Legal Terms, as well as any document expressly referred to therein, constitute the entire agreement between ADB and the Customer. - PARTIAL NULLITY
If any part of these General Conditions is declared null and void by a final decision issued by a competent authority, the remaining General Conditions shall remain in force and shall not be affected by said declaration of nullity. - AMENDMENT
ADB reserves the right to review and amend these General Conditions at any time. The Customer will be subject to the General Conditions in force at the time you use the Website and/or make the Purchase of the Tickets. - ASSIGNMENT
These General Conditions constitute a binding contract both for the Customer and for ADB, as well as for their respective successors, assignees and transferees. The Customer may not transfer, assign, encumber or otherwise transfer the contract or any of the rights or obligations arising therefrom without having obtained ADB’s prior written consent.
ADB may transfer, assign, encumber, subcontract or otherwise transfer the contract or any of the rights or obligations arising therefrom at any time during its term.
For the avoidance of doubt, such transfers, assignments, encumbrances or other transfers shall not affect the rights that the Customer may have as a consumer by law, nor shall they annul, reduce or otherwise limit the guarantees, whether express or implied, that may have been granted. - WAIVER
ADB’s failure to require Customers to strictly comply with any of the obligations assumed under the Legal Terms or these General Conditions, or ADB’s failure to exercise the rights or actions that may correspond under these General Conditions, shall not constitute a waiver or limitation in relation to such rights or actions, nor shall it exonerate the Customer from complying with such obligations.
No waiver by ADB of a specific right or action shall constitute a waiver of other rights or actions arising from these General Conditions, nor shall it take effect unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is formalized and communicated to the Customer in writing. - APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
The use of the Website and the Legal Terms are governed by the Applicable Regulations.
The parties agree that any dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration within the framework of the Arbitration Court of the Bar Association of Barcelona, which is entrusted with the administration of the arbitration and the appointment of arbitrators in accordance with its Rules and Statutes. Likewise, the parties expressly state their commitment to comply with the arbitral award issued. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties, who shall accept it unconditionally.
On a subsidiary basis and should it be necessary, the parties submit, with express waiver of any jurisdiction that may correspond to them, to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, both parties will do everything reasonably necessary to try to resolve disputes amicably and through any out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms to which they may adhere.
Additionally, you may submit your complaints and claims directly to ADB through the following contact channels: atencionalcliente@andorradirectbus.es and through the Customer Service channels provided on the Website.
The claim must include the claimant’s identification details, a description of the reason, the documents supporting their position and any other relevant information. ADB will acknowledge receipt of the claim and will respond within the legally established period.
