Telephone pre-bookings. These can be made by calling the telephone numbers listed in the index of the Directbus website. Users need only provide their personal details, such as name, surnames, passport or ID number (for EC citizens) and the price applicable to the traveller (based on age or if the multi-trip rate applies). With the reference number provided over the telephone, the user must present the relevant border documents and pay for their ticket at the ticket office, allowing sufficient time before the selected departure time, which must nonetheless be no more than 30 minutes before said departure. Passengers may check in once the booking is converted to a ticket, at around 15 minutes before departure.
For open-return tickets, passengers have six months in which to return; if they do not make the return trip within this time, they may redeem their ticket for the amount paid at the office where it was purchased, less the cost of the trip actually made. Open-return tickets are subject to seat availability. Once the return trip has been selected, the ticket may be changed up to two hours prior to the chosen departure time.
